The health services in Western NSW have been neglected for far too long.

The people of Western NSW are being forced to put up with substandard health care.

NSW Labor’s mismanagement of our health system has forced doctors to borrow bandages from a local vet, and crucial health supplies are being cut off from local hospitals because the State Labor Government would not pay its bills on time.

At one stage NSW Labor had mismanaged it’s finances to such a degree that the Greater Western Area Health Service was in debt of over $60 million.

Under no circumstances should local doctors be forced to pay for their own medical supplies.

This not only denies patients the health services they deserve, but forces hard-working health staff to operate under unsatisfactory conditions.

Join the community campaign calling on Labor to fix health services in Western NSW.

It is time for the NSW Labor Government to provide the health services of Western NSW with the support it deserves.

Since the amalgamations of the previous Area Health Services into the Greater Western Area Health Service and the abolition of Area Health Boards things have only become worse.

Local communities deserve an input into their health services and it is time for the NSW Labor Government to respond to this need.

The NSW Liberal/Nationals will continue to hold the State Labor Government accountable and fight for the restoration of adequate health services in Western NSW.

Under a NSW Liberal/Nationals Government the State Government will be require accounts to be paid within 30 days and will allow penalty interest to be charged if the deadline is not met.
